Uploading Firmware to the n-Command MSP Server

The device firmware must first be available locally before attempting to upload it to the n-Command MSP server. Check with your reseller or ADTRAN technical support at www.adtran.com for the most current firmware for your devices.

To upload firmware to the server, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to the Firmware tab at the top left of the menu.
2. Select Upload Firmware.
3. Navigate to the location of the firmware you want to upload using the Windows dialog box that appears. Select the firmware file and choose Open.
4. Once the firmware has been transferred to the server, it appears in the Firmware tab window. It is now ready to be transferred to a device on the network. Refer to Updating Firmware on a Device from the Firmware menu for more information.

NOTE: Device Groups will only display a group if firmware for that device type is currently available on the server. A group will appear as soon as new firmware is transferred to the server.
