Reverse DNS

The Reverse DNS option of the Settings menu allows you to enable reverse domain naming system (DNS) lookup. If this option is enabled, when a device checks in with the n-Command MSP server, a reverse DNS lookup is performed on the IPv4 address. If a host name is associated with the IPv4 address, n-Command MSP will use the fully qualified domain name (FQDN) instead of the IPv4 address. Select the check box next to Enable Reverse DNS to enable, and select Save.

Select Cancel to exit the dialog box without performing any of these functions.
